Fiadh and Sionnach Cottages

External

Barmolloch Cottages were built on the edge of the farm square in 1991 . They have views out from the square across open fields onto wooded hillsides.

 

Kitchen

Is fully equipped with a fridge freezer,electric cooker, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine/tumble dryer. Full range of stainless steel pans, utensils and all cutlery and crockery. Tea towels supplied.

 

Lounge

Has views to the burn and wooded hillside beyond and large sliding patio door leading onto patio and garden ground.

Seating consists of two three seater leather settees and an easy chair.

Flat screen tv with freesat box and DVD player.

Radio/cd player

Ceiling fan for when the weather gets too warm (yes in Scotland !!)

Drop leaf dining table and six chairs are kept in the understairs cloakroom and can be positioned in the lounge to suit.

Electric panel heater.

 

Bathroom

Is situated on the ground floor off the lounge.

Toilet, washhand basin and bath with electric shower above. Electric fan heater, extractor fan, Electric towel rail.  

Bath and hand towels available on request.

 

Bunk Bedroom  

Downstairs off the lounge, a bedroom containing two full size bunk beds, double wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Electric panel heater. (In Fiadh this room contains a single bed instead of bunk beds)

 

Double bedroom

Situated on the first floor . Double bed with bedside cabinets with lights, Double wardrobe, four drawer chest

Velux window with blinds , midge blind, electric panel heater. Electric blankets on request during winter months.

 

Twin bedroom

Twin beds, bedside cabinets with lights, three drawer chest, double wardrobe, electric panel heater, velux window with blind, midge blind, electric blankets on request during winter months.

 

Broc Cottage same as Sionnach and Fiadh but:-

Sleeps 4 in twin and double bedrooms. It also has a separate dining room.

Outside

Patio area to the front with table a chairs.

Kettle style barbeque for each cottage.

Gravel area and rockery in front of the cottages leads down to a grassed play area, then on through the farm gate to a burnside picnic area.

Attached to the end of the cottages is a large stone barn with drying room for wet weather gear and storage for bikes,leading through to games room with pool table and table tennis table.

Parking for six cars at the rear of the cottages,

We also have bins for recycling glass, tins, plastic, paper and compost.

 

There is no smoking in the cottages.
