Built on the bounds of the farm square, Barmolloch cottages are situated mid way along the scenic Kilmichael Glen on a steading which was used as a way station during the great cattle droves from the highlands and islands to the borders.
The farm is bounded on one side by the single track road which runs the length of the glen and on the other by the clachandubh burn (free fishing for brown trout in season). The cottages provide quality accommodation for 4,5 and 6 respectively.
Stewart and Helen took over the cottages from Iain and Wendy on 19th Novemebr 2010.
Iain and Wendy developed and ran the cottages for the previous 20 years. Helen and Stewart intend to continue running the cottages with the same friendly atmosphere, and hope to welcome back previous guests and also invite new guests to join them at Barmolloch.
