Welcome to Barmolloch Cottages
Helen and Stewart Wright would like to welcome you to a relaxing rural retreat. Barmolloch is situated in the lesser known Kilmichael Glen in Argyll in the most historic area of Dunadd or Dalriada where the ancient Kings of Scotland were crowned.
Nearby is the well known Crinan Canal and ancient Knapdale Forest, home to the now famous beavers. Just a few miles north is Croabh Haven a favourite spot for sailing and watersports. The Islands are within easy reach from Kennacraig and Oban nearby.

Your Holiday Location
Built on the bounds of the farm square, Barmolloch cottages are situated mid way along the scenic Kilmichael Glen on a steading which was used as a way station during the great cattle droves from the highlands and islands to the borders. Barmolloch apparently means "land of the green grass" and the "Kil" in Kilmartin means "church" The farm is bounded on one side by the single track road which runs the length of the glen and on the other by the clachandubh burn (free fishing for brown trout in season). The cottages provide quality accommodation for 4,5 and 6 respectively.
